I had a hard time trying to push this further... I cleaned up the tree and added some detail in the leaves and trunk, added a glow to the lit hollow. and I added more detail to the waterfall. I also made things a bit brighter and bumped up the contrast a bit.
I decided not to color it because I find I don't really like converting from greyscale to color, if I'm going to make a colored piece I generally start in color because I have a hard time getting values/colors I like when I try converting things.
Any crits before class would be helpful since I didn't get any on the original thumb
